Police induct college girls, female IT employees as special officers in Bhubaneswar

The commissionerate police on Thursday designated some girls of different colleges and working women of IT firms as special police officers (SPO) to check crime against women on those premises. The female SPOs have also been conferred with certain powers of police to accept complaints and facilitate arrest of accused.
