Accident deaths drop by 64.4 % during lockdown in Odisha

Despite restrictions in movement of vehicles during the lockdown and shutdown between March (last week) and May, at least 384 persons were killed in road accidents in the state during the period. However, the total fatality rate dropped by 64.4 % during the lockdown period compared to the corresponding period in 2019.
