Odisha govt removes Puri SP, suspends four other cops over twin custodial deaths

Amid massive public outrage and uproar by opposition in the assembly over Thursday’s custodial deaths in Puri and Sundargarh districts, the state government on Friday removed Puri’s superintendent of police Akhileshvar Singh and appointed Sambalpur SP Kanwar Vishal Singh at his place.
