Turtles start mating off Gahirmatha

Olive Ridley sea turtles have started mating on the sea surface off the coast of Gahirmatha marine sanctuary, the world’s largest rookery in Kendrapada district. The turtles start mating in November, said Debashis Bhoi, the forest range officer of the sanctuary.
