A BTech student from Bhanjanagar in Ganjam district was allegedly duped of around Rs 4.25 lakh by job racketeers, who had promised to provide him employment in a reputed company. The matter came to light when the 22-year-old lodged an FIR in this regard on Tuesday. “We have registered a case and started investigation into the matter,” Sudeepta Kumar Sahoo, inspector-in charge, Bhanjanagar police station, said.
