Minor was raped before murder, SIT tells Orissa high court

Nearly two weeks after a special investigation team (SIT) took over investigation into the murder case of a 5-year-old girl in Nayagarh district in July, the investigators have come to know she was allegedly raped before being killed. The girl would have turned six on Wednesday.
