Prisons directorate issues guidelines on jailbreaks

The Odisha prisons directorate has issued a standard operating procedure (SOP) for jails to effectively handle emergencies like jailbreaks and escape of prisoners from judicial custody. A special joint drive would be launched by the police and prisons staff to recapture the escapees.
