Odisha: Effort begins to pick next DGP

The state government may name the next director general of police (DGP) any time soon with chief secretary Suresh Mahapatra and outgoing DGP Abhay attending a meeting at the office of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in Delhi on Wednesday. Abhay is set to retire on December 31.
